Candex Side Effects
and Reviews

This page has been created to review Candex™, a yeast management system made by Pure Essence Labs. Candex contains fiber digesting enzymes for people with yeast infections or systemic Candida albicans.

It's said to break down the fiber wall of Candida which in turn causes the yeast to die. For this reason, it should be taken furthest from mealtime as not to compete with break down of food. The manufacturer claims it's the only product of its kind to be studied in a human trial.

The ingredients are vegetarian and include cellulase, hemicellulase, amylase, glucoamylase, and invertase. With these substances, it is supposed to have the benefit of being without the “die off” symptoms or herxheimer reaction that is known to take place during the healing process.

According to the directions on the bottle, two capsules are to be taken, at least one hour before breakfast, and two at bedtime, at least two hours after eating, until desired results are achieved. Always take on an empty stomach with 8 oz of water. For maintenance, one capsule at bedtime. Children: 1/2 capsule, twice daily for each 40lbs of body weight.

Candex Side Effects

The most common side effect attributed to it is a burning sensation in the stomach due to digestive tract imbalances. In some instances, there are people who are allergic to the ingredients in it and can have symptoms like rashes or headaches.

Reviews

Negatives: There were some people who commented that they had an adverse reaction to it and they had to immediately stop taking it. These are the people who most likely actually had an allergic reaction to the ingredients inside the product. Other people who took it wrote that it caused them to have more gas than normal. Other slight side effects were noted such as fatigue and stomach discomfort. Other comments were made saying that the price was too high for the amount of capsules in each bottle.

Positives: There is another group of people who took it and seem happy with the outcome and even suggest it to others. They claim it helped with systemic Candida and a chronic yeast infection. Some explain that their yeast infection symptoms went away after using the product for several days while others saw a difference after a longer time frame. Some of the users who had success with the product mentioned although it helped with their condition, they still stuck to the anti Candida diet and eliminated sugar foods and simple carbohydrates. Many of these individuals also took various other supplements such as probiotics, etc., while taking it.

Conclusion

From the testimonials of people who used the product, it seems Candex is a supplement for thrush treatment or Candida albicans that should be used in conjunction with other methods. It gave many people successful outcomes but there are a few people who are allergic to the product as well. Overall, it seems to be an effective product for yeast overgrowth if one chooses to take it, although every situation will be different.
